About the Rhodes Brothers: The Rhodes Brothers have been performing together for 28 years. Headed by Tim and Chris Rhodes (vocals, keyboards & guitar) and Dave Calvert (drums), the group formed while going to ASU in the early 80's and performing at spots like PB Scotts and Antlers in Blowing Rock. The group has since performed in Asheville and Charlotte, as well as other cities in North Carolina. Occasionally the group is joined by former Lory Morgan, guitarist, as well as Doyle Lawson, fiddle player, Alan Johnson. Alan’s brother, Bruce, was the original bass player in the band and Alan at age twelve was the fiddle player when they performed at the opening of Sugar Top! Last year, they headlined the Avery County Fair in Newland, NC, and will be doing so again this year on September 18, 2010.

The band performs a variety of music including Blues, Motown, Top 40 and Dance. Contact Dave Calvert for booking information at 828-733-8985.
