2026 Summer Concert Schedule: 

June 25 - Bantum Rooster
A crowd favorite every year! The Bantam Rooster Band is a 9-piece powerhouse that plays a blend of Classic Rock, Beach, Funk, Dance, and Top 40 hits from their diverse repertoire to guarantee a packed dance floor from the first song to the last! 

July 2 - Sami & The Academy *NEW for 2026!*
Smooth grooves, hot dance tunes, and R&B Classics. 

July 9 - Vinyl Live *NEW for 2026!*
Vinyl Live is a five-piece Charlotte, NC-based rock and roll band dedicated to bringing the best music of the last 50 years to life, right off the record.

July 16 - Woodie & The String Pullers
Back by popular demand! Woodie & The String Pullers are 3 witty gents from Charlotte, NC who play authentic acoustic instruments. Their repertoire covers the map…. including Pop, Rock, Country, Indie and Reggae.

July 23 - Y2K Kids: A Tribute to the 2000's  *NEW for 2026!*
 Y2K-Kids is a high-energy, power-packed, ultra-fun 6-piece band paying tribute to the iconic music of the 2000s. Covering all the unforgettable genres from the decade—pop, rock, hip-hop, and R&B—we deliver the ultimate throwback experience.

July 30 - The Collective (Dennis Murphy Tribute)
Another crowd favorite, from right in the High Country! Classic rock, blues, country, and R&B.

August 6 - Blue Country *NEW for 2026!*
Blue Country has been the High Country's top country music/variety band for over 30 years!

August 13 - The Extraordinaires
Wrap up the season with our most popular band! From the powerful kickin' horns to the smooth lead vocals, The Extraordinaires have a "Pure Live" sound like no other that will keep you coming back. Pop, Top 40, R&B Classics, Rock n Roll Classics, 60's, 70's, and so much more!

Concert Details

  • When: Thursdays from June 25th thru August 13th 6:30 P.M.
  • Where: Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater (Google Map)
  • Concert Lineup: TBA

Locals and visitors look forward to this free concert series each year, with shows starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. Outstanding local and regional bands play fun dance music suitable for all ages, from Southern Rock to Oldies and Soul/Funk. 

Food & Beverages

We have an excellent lineup of Food Trucks and drink stands for each concert! 

​You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, but we encourage you to support our local small businesses as well! 
Some tips and answers to FAQs:
​
  • Parking at Tate-Evans Park is reserved for handicap parking and Sponsor parking. 
  • The shows start at 6:30 p.m.; arrival at 6 p.m. is suggested to find parking in the field on Culver Street.
  • Small picnic coolers are allowed, and please make sure all beverages are in plastic cups.
  • Chairs or a blanket are recommended and may be laid out on the morning of the concert.
  • Bug repellant is not usually necessary here in the High Country; but it never hurts to have it, just in case.
  • No pets allowed in the concert area, but we do have a 'pet-friendly' zone!

Weather-related cancellations or delays will be announced on Facebook and Instagram.

Sponsors select which band and concert night they’d like to support, and are highlighted with additional signage the night of the event.
