2026 Summer Concerts in the Park

Concert Details

  • When: Thursdays from June 25th thru August 13th 6:30 P.M.
  • Where: Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater (Google Map)
  • Concert Lineup: TBA

Locals and visitors look forward to this free concert series each year, with shows starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. Outstanding local and regional bands play fun dance music suitable for all ages, from Southern Rock to Oldies and Soul/Funk.

We have an excellent lineup of Food Trucks and drink stands for each concert! 

​You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, but we encourage you to support our local small businesses as well!

Some tips and answers to FAQs:

  • Parking at Tate-Evans Park is reserved for handicap parking and Sponsor parking. 
  • The shows start at 6:30 p.m.; arrival at 6 p.m. is suggested to find parking in the field on Culver Street.
  • Small picnic coolers are allowed, and please make sure all beverages are in plastic cups.
  • Chairs or a blanket are recommended and may be laid out on the morning of the concert.
  • Bug repellant is not usually necessary here in the High Country; but it never hurts to have it, just in case.
  • No pets allowed in the concert area, but we do have a 'pet-friendly' zone!

Weather-related cancellations or delays will be announced on Facebook and Instagram.

We invite local businesses to partner with us in making this series possible by sponsoring a concert! With three sponsorship levels available, there’s an opportunity for every business to shine.

Premium Sponsors Also Receive: 
  • Tent and table space at your chosen concert
  •  A 5-minute speaking opportunity during intermission

Supporting Sponsors Receive:
  • Space to table at the concert, if desired
  • Logo featured on signage and marketing materials.
(Note: No speaking slot or social media features at this level)

Sponsors select which band and concert night they’d like to support, and are highlighted with additional signage the night of the event. This is an incredible chance to connect with the community, promote your brand, and be part of one of Banner Elk’s most cherished summer events. Sponsorships are first come - first served, so commit to your sponsorship early so you don't miss out on your favorite band!
